The Gloucester Housing Authority (GHA) is currently accepting public housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.The GHA offers two public housing communities with 89 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.There are two ways to apply:1. Visit the GHA to pick up an application, located at 259 Washington St., P.O. Box 1599, Gloucester, MA 01931 during normal office hours.2. Download the application here, then print and complete.Once the application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above. If claiming a preference, be sure to include documentation.The GHA does have a preference point system that may improve your spot on the waiting list: live and/or work in Gloucester, displaced by natural forces, displaced by public action, displaced by government action, victims of domestic violence, employed, elderly, or disabled.More information can be found by visiting the GHA website at http://www.ghama.com, or by calling 978-281-4770 during normal office hours.
