The Scituate Housing Authority (SHA) is currently accepting public housing waiting list applications for senior/disabled individuals.Please note: The SHA does not offer public housing for families.The SHA offers one public housing community with 51 units dedicated to senior/disabled individuals.There are two ways to apply:1. Visit the SHA to pick up an application, located at 791 Country Way, Scituate, MA 02066, between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm Monday and Wednesday, 8:00 am until 7:00 pm on Thursday, and 8:00 am until 12:00 pm on Friday.2. Request to have an application mailed to you by calling 781-545-3375 between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm Monday and Wednesday, 8:00 am until 7:00 pm on Thursday, and 8:00 am until 12:00 pm on Friday.Once the application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above. No documents are needed at this time.The SHA does have a preference for applicants that live and/or work in Scituate.For more information, the SHA can be reached by calling 781-545-3375 between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm Monday and Wednesday, 8:00 am until 7:00 pm on Thursday, and 8:00 am until 12:00 pm on Friday.
