The Secaucus Housing Authority (SHA) is currently accepting public housing waiting list applications for senior/disabled individuals.Please Note: The SHA does not offer public housing for families.The SHA offers three public housing communities dedicated to senior/disabled individuals.There are two ways to apply:1. Download the application here, then print and complete.2. Request an application be mailed to you by calling 201-867-2957 during normal office hours.Once the application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to 700 County Ave., Secaucus, NJ 07094. Be sure to include copies of these documents with your application: birth certificates, social security cards, and proof of income, and photo IDs for all adult household members.The SHA does have a preference point system that may improve your spot on the waiting list: live and/or work in Secaucus, relative living in Secaucus, or veteran.More information can be found by visiting the SHA website at http://www.secaucusha.org/, or by calling 201-867-2957 during normal office hours.
