The Lemmon Housing and Redevelopment Commission (LHRC) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for senior/disabled individuals.Please note: The LHRC does not offer a Public Housing program for families.The LHRC offers one Public Housing community with 43 units for senior/disabled individuals.There are two ways to apply:

  1. Visit the LHRC to pick up an application, located at 206 6th St. E, Lemmon, SD 57638, during normal office hours.
  2. Request an application be mailed to you by calling (605) 374-5963 during normal office hours.
Once the application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above. Be sure to include these documents with your application: Social Security Cards and photo IDs for all adult household members.The LHRC does not have a preference.  Qualified applicants will be placed on the waiting list by the date and time the application has been received.For more information, call the LHRC office at (605) 374-5963 during normal office hours.
