The Sparta Housing Authority (SHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-application for senior/disabled households.Please note: The SHA does not offer a Public Housing program for families.The SHA offers one Public Housing community with 56 units for senior/disabled households.There are two ways to apply:

  1. Visit the SHA to pick up a pre-application, located at 307 N Court St., Sparta, WI 54656, during normal office hours.
  2. Request to have a pre-application mailed to you by calling (608) 269-2188 during normal office hours.
Once the pre-application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above.Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards, and photo IDs for all adult household members.No preferences were noted.For more information, call the SHA office at (608) 269-2188 during normal office hours.
