To apply, visit the GHA office, located at 601 Beeland Street, Greenville, AL 36037, from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm; and 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm CT, on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, bank statements, proof of all income, and photo IDs for all adult household members. All adult household members must be present when applying.

The following preferences have been identified: Involuntarily displaced, living in substandard housing, homeless, paying more than 50% of income for rent and utilities, single persons who are elderly, displaced, homeless, or persons with disabilities are over other single persons.

As of July 2017, the Greeenville Housing Authority (GHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.

To apply, visit the GHA office to submit a pre-application in person, located at 601 Beeland St, Greenville, AL 36037, from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm, on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, bank statements, proof of all income, and photo IDs for all adult household members. All adult household members must be present when applying.

The GHA does have a preference for: Substandard living conditions, victim of natural disaster, victim of domestic violence.
