As of July 2017, The Brent Housing Authority (BHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.

To apply:

  • Visit the BHA office to pick up a pre-application, located at 10 White St, Brent, AL 35034 during normal office hours.
  • Request to have a pre-application emailed to you by calling (205) 926-7781 during normal office hours.

Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above during normal office hours. All adult must be present and be prepared to fill out the second portion of the pre-application.

Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, proof of all income, and photo IDs for all adult household members.

The BHA does have a preference for: Living in substandard living conditions, veteran, elderly, disabled, working family, or live in Brent.
