This means that applicants who qualify for these preferences will receive assistance before applicants who do not. Because of these preferences, applicants who do not qualify may have a longer wait to receive assistance.To apply during the opening period, complete the online application here.If an applicant does not have access to the Internet, they can use a friend or family member's computer/device, one at a local library, or one at the Julian Dixon Library, located at 4975 Overland Ave, Culver City, CA 90230, on November 18, 2016 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm, and on November 19, 2016 from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm. Applicants are asked to contact the Julian Dixon Library before November 12, 2016 to obtain a required Computer User Card.Senior and disabled applicants who require reasonable accommodation to complete the application can visit the Culver City Senior Center, located at 4095 Overland Ave, Culver City, CA 90230, on November 18, 2016 from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm, and on November 29, 2016 from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm.The following documentation is required for each household member: Social Security Number, total gross income and income sources, birth date, first and last name and middle initial, mailing address, phone number, veteran status.This waiting list has the following preferences: Veteran, disabled, homeless, live or work in Culver City.Applicants will be placed on the waiting list by random lottery, by order of preferences.The CCHA will accept enough applications for a 24-month waiting list.Important note: Applicants who have been placed on the waiting list must inform the housing authority immediately if your application information changes (such as contact information, income, and household members). In the case that the office sends a notice that does not get returned, or if application information is out of date, your name may be terminated from the waiting list.
