The City of Encinitas Housing Authority (CEHA) is accepting Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from the earliest confirmed open date of May 15, 2023, until further notice.

Please note: According to the CEHA "Please be aware that first priority on our waiting list will be given to persons who live or work in the City of Encinitas. Due to the high number of individuals on the wait list, we anticipate that your name may not be reached if you do not presently live or work in Encinitas. If you live outside of Encinitas, we suggest that you contact the Housing Authority that covers the area in which you live."

To apply while the waitlist is open, print the application online. In the "Waiting List" section, click the link for an English or Spanish application.

Once the application has been completed, it must be mailed to:

This waiting list has the following preferences: Live or work in the City of Encinitas, elderly, veteran, disabled, working.

It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list.
