Section 8 HCV Waiting List Status: Open

The Housing Authority of the City of Alamosa (HACA) is currently accepting Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications. This waiting list is open indefinitely.


Please note: The current wait time for a voucher is approximately two years.

There are two ways to apply:
1. Visit the HACA to pick up an application, located at 213 Murphy Dr., Alamosa, CO 81101, during normal office hours.
2. Request an application be mailed to you by calling 719-589-6694 during normal office hours.

Once the application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above.

The HACA is administering vouchers through the Colorado Division of Housing.

The HACA has noted these preferences: veteran, substandard living conditions, victim of domestic violence, elderly, employed, displaced by natural disaster.
