There were two ways to apply while this waitlist was open:

2. Pick up the paper application from the HACNB office.

Once the application was completed, it was either:

1. Returned to the HACNB office drop box.
2. Mailed to the HACNB.
3. Faxed to the HACNB.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Victims of Domestic Violence and Human Trafficking.
• Involuntary Displaced or Homeless.
• Veterans

1000 selected applicants were placed on this waiting list by random lottery, by order of preferences.

There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

This waiting list was for the following property:

• The Jefferson Apartments, located in New Britain, CT. Offering 1 and 2-bedroom units.

To apply while the waitlist was open, applicants were required to complete the online application.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Head of household is employed for at least 20 hours per week.
• Involuntarily displaced or homeless.
• Head of the household was honorably discharged or released under honorable conditions from active service in the armed forces.
• VAWA, covers domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, and sex trafficking.
• Head and spouse, or sole member is age 62 or older, or is a person with disabilities.

It was not known how selected applicants were placed on the waiting list.
