There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.New Britain, CT is about 10 miles southwest of Hartford, CT.To applyduring the opening period, applicants were required to download and print the pre-application online. The pre-application was available in English and Spanish. The website does not load on the Google Chrome browser. Only one pre-application per household was accepted. No paper pre-applications or phone calls were accepted.The HACNB placed 1,000 applicants on the waiting list by random lottery.Applicants who have been placed on the waiting list will be notified by mail. Important note: Applicants who have been placed on the waiting list must inform the housing authority immediately if your application information changes (such as contact information, income, and household members). In the case that the office sends a notice that does not get returned, or if application information is out of date, your name may be terminated from the waiting list.
