To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

The maximum income limit for each household size were as follows:

  • 1 $35,950 | 5 $55,450
  • 2 $41,050 | 6 $59,550
  • 3 $46,200 | 7 $63,650
  • 4 $51,300 | 8 $67,750

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

300 applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, weighed by order of preferences.

This waiting list was originally scheduled to open in March, 2020, but was postponed due to COVID-19 concerns.

The Wallingford Housing Authority (WHA) State Elderly/Disabled Housing Waiting List for Zero and 1-Bedroom apartments at McKenna Court is currently closed. Applications were last accepted from January 5, 2021 until March 5, 2021. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

There were four ways to apply during the opening period: 

  1. Pick up a paper application from the WHA,
  2. Send an email to the WHA.
  3. Send a fax to the WHA.
  4. Call the WHA.

Once the application was completed, it must have been postmarked on or before March 5, 2021 at 3:00 pm; and mailed to the Wallingford Housing Authority.

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery.
