The Housing Authority of the City of Lafayette (HACL) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.The HACL offers three Public Housing communities with 300 units for families and senior disabled individuals.To apply, visit the HACL to pick up an application, located at 300 Oak Street, Lafayette, GA 30728, from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm, Monday- Friday.Please note: You will receive an interview date when you pick up the application at the HACL.Be sure to bring these documents with you to the interview: birth certificates, social security cards, proof of all income, and photo IDs for all adult household members.The HACL does have a preference for: elderly, disabled, or families with children.For more information, the HACL can be reached by calling 706-638-2733, from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday.
