This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in Elwood, Alexandria, Frankton, Orestes, and Summitville County, Indiana.

The Elwood Housing Authority (EHA) last accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from February 7, 2024, until February 14, 2024, or until 200 applications were received.  There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply while the waiting list was open, applicants were required to complete the online application.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

  • Applicants who reside in Elwood, Alexandria, Frankton, Orestes, and Summitville County, Indiana.
  • Elderly (62 years of age and older).
  • Disabled.
  • Veterans.
  • Applicants who reside in Indiana.

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, weighed by order of preferences.
