The Region XII Regional Housing Authority Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open, since at least March, 2019, until further notice.

There are two ways to apply:

  1. Pick up an application at the Region XII office, located at 320 East 7th Street, Carroll, Iowa, 51401, from Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am to 12:00 pm CT.
  2. Call (712) 792-5560 for an appointment to make an application for Audubon, Crawford, Greene, Guthrie, Harrison, Shelby, Sac and southern Ida Counties.

Once the paper application is completed, it must be either:

  1. Dropped off at the Region XII office located at the above address, during office hours.
  2. Mailed to the Region XII office at the above address.

Applicants must present original social security cards, birth certificates and picture I.D.s at the time of application. 

This waiting list has no preferences.

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received.
