The Junction City Housing Authority (JCHA) last accepted Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled individuals from the earliest confirmed open date of April 8, 2022, until the earliest confirmed closed date of March 21, 2024.

Please note: According to the JCHA "We do not know how long the waiting lists will be closed but are hopeful to reopen by June 1, 2024."

The JCHA offers two Public Housing communities with 118 units for families and senior/disabled individuals, ranging in size from 1 to 4 bedrooms.

Once the paper application was completed, it was to be: hand delivered to the JCHA office.

The JCHA did not have preferences.

Qualified applicants were placed by the date and time the application was received.

There were two ways to apply:

  1. Visit the JCHA to pick up a pre-application.
  2. Request to have a pre-application mailed to you.
