Open Until Further Notice: Monroe Housing Authority Public Housing Waiting List

The Monroe Housing Authority (MHA) is accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for Multiple Apartments since at least December, 2017, until further notice.

There are four ways to apply while the waitlist is open:

  1. Complete the online application.
  2. Pick up an application at one of the communities. Location information can be found here.
  3. Pick up an application at the MHA Annex Building, located at 210 Harrison Street, Monroe, LA 71201, from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm CT, Monday-Friday.
  4. Call the MHA at (318) 388-1500 to request an application by mail.

Once the paper application has been completed, it must be: Mailed or hand delivered to the MHA, address mentioned above.

This waiting list has the following preferences:

  • Families displaced by natural disaster
  • Families displaced by government action
  • Applicant is a veteran or spouse of a veteran
  • Applicant is a victim of domestic abuse
