The Housing Authority of the Parish of Caldwell (HAPC) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open, from July 2, 2018 at 8:00 am CT, until further notice. It was last open in February, 2017 and before that in 2015.
There are two ways to apply during the opening period:
Once the application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above.
There are no preferences.
Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received.

The Housing Authority of the Parish of Caldwell (HAPC) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.The HAPC offers one Public Housing community with 116 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from 1 to 4 bedrooms.There are two ways to apply:1. Visit the HAPC to pick up a pre-application, located at 103 N Alvin St, Columbia, LA 71418 during normal office hours.2. Request to have a pre-application mailed to you by calling (318) 649-5022 during normal office hours.Once the pre-application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above.Be sure to include copies of these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, photo IDs for all adult household members, proof of all income, food stamp award letter if applicable, child support print out if applicable, and three months of bank statements.The HAPC does not have a preference.Qualified applicants will be placed by the date and time the pre-application is received.For more information, call the HAPC office at (318) 649-5022 during normal office hours.
