The WHA last accepted applications for this waiting list from August 22, 2022, until September 16, 2022.There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

Please note: According to the WHA, "To be eligible, applicants must a) meet the income guidelines, b) live and/or work in Watertown, MA, and c) be 55+ years of age"

There were two ways to apply during the opening period:

  1. Complete the online application.
  2. Call the WHA to request an application by mail.

Once the application was completed, it was postmarked by September 16, 2022 and mailed to the WHA.

The maximum income limits for each household size were as follows:

  • 1 Person $78,300
  • 2 Persons $89,500
  • 3 Persons $100,700
  • 4 Persons $111,850

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery.

The Watertown Housing Authority (WHA) waiting list for Elderly Public Housing apartments at St. Joseph’s Hall is currently closed. Applications were last accepted from September 16, 2019, until October 11, 2019. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

There were three ways to apply during the opening period:

  1. Complete an application in person at the WHA Office.
  2. Call to request an application by mail.
  3. Submit a request for an application by mail to the WHA.

Once the application was completed, it must have been either:

  1. Delivered in person no later than Friday, October 11, 2019 at 4:30 pm at the WHA office.
  2. Postmarked and mailed to the WHA, no later than October 11, 2019.

This waiting list had the following preferences: Applicants who live and/or work in Watertown, MA.

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, weighed by order of preferences.

The Watertown Housing Authority (WHA) waiting list for Senior/Disabled Public Housing apartments is currently open. Applications are being accepted since at least June, 2015, until further notice.
