The Spring Creek II townhomes Project-Based Voucher waiting list was open. Preference was given to Rice County residents.

The Rice County Housing (HRA) last accepted Section 8 Project Based Voucher waiting list applications for 3 and 4-Bedroom apartments at Spring Creek ll from April 25, 2023, until further notice. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

Please note: According to the HRA notice "Application will only be accepted from families eligible for the Rice County residency preference and will only be accepted from families who qualify for three or four bedrooms."

There were two ways to  apply during the opening period:

1. Print the paper application.
2. Pick up an application in person at HRA office.

Once the paper application was completed, it must have been either:

1. Emailed to the HRA.
2. Faxed to the HRA.
3. Mailed to the HRA office.
4. Hand delivered to HRA office.

This waiting list had the following preferences: 

• Resident of Rice County 
  • Families that have permanent, sole place of residency in Rice County or have a household member that works in Rice County at the time of application.

It was not known how selected applicants were placed on the waiting list.
