Preferences will be given to applicants residing in those ten counties listed above; others not living in the area will be classified as non-residents of the jurisdiction.

All applications received will be sorted by preference and then placed on waiting list by date and time of application submission.

A submitted application may be denied for any of these reasons:
  • Owes OACAC Housing any money or violated any Family Obligations as a previous participant.
  • Owes any money to another Public Housing Agency or violated their program rules.
  • Has been evicted from public housing or any Section 8 Program in the last three years for illegal drug activity.
  • Was arrested for illegal drug activity in the past year or has ever been arrested for violent, criminal activity.
  • Convicted of manufacturing meth.
  • Was required to register with any state sex offender registration program.
  • And all household members must furnish verification of Social Security card numbers and meet the documentation requirements of citizenship or eligible immigration status.
