The Monmouth County Public Housing Agency (MCPHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. It was last open for five days in June, 2019; and before that in September, 2016. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

This waiting list had the following preferences: Live or work in Monmouth County; Veterans who have been honorably discharged; Active military.

1,000 applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, by order of preferences. The remaining applications will be discarded and the office will not return phone calls about an applications status.
