Open Until Further Notice: Asset Management Public Housing Waiting List

The Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) waiting list for Asset Management apartments is currently open. Applications are being accepted since at least March, 2016, until further notice.

Please note: The CMHA's name for the Public Housing program is the Asset Management program.

To apply, print the application online. Select the "CMHA Leasing Application" link in the "Getting Started" section.

Once the application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the CMHA leasing office, located at 1088 W Liberty St, Cincinnati, OH 45214, from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm ET, Monday-Friday.

The following documentation is required when submitting the application: 

  1. Picture ID
  2. Birth certificates for each household member
  3. Social Security cards or proof of legal U.S. status for each household member
  4. Proof of household income (paycheck stubs, SS/SSI verification letter)
  5. Current police background checks for all household members age 18 and over
  6. Current landlord information: name, address and telephone number
  7. Proof of all household assets (bank statements, real estate deeds, etc.)

The CMHA may have preferences for a specific property.

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, after sorting preferences.

  • Transitioning out of institutions or facilities 
  • At risk of institutionalization
  • Currently experiencing homelessness
  • Previously experienced homelessness
  • At risk of becoming homeless 
  • Currently in permanent supportive housing or rapid rehousing
