The Housing Authority of Prague (HAP) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.The HAP offers one Public Housing community with 40 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from studios to 3 bedrooms.To apply, visit the HAP office to pick up a pre-application, located at 607 Mitacek Ave., Prague, OK 74864, from 8:00 am until 11:00 am CT, Monday-Friday.Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, from 8:00 am until 11:00 am, Monday-Friday.No documents are needed at this time.The HAP does not have a preference.Applicants will receive a confirmation number upon submitting the pre-application. It is important to keep that number in a safe, easy to access place. It will be needed any time when referencing your pre-application with the housing authority.Qualified applicants will be placed on the waiting list by the date and time the pre-application is received.As of December 2015, the waiting list for Public Housing and wait time to receive assistance is long.For more information, call the HAP office at 405-567-3337, from 8:00 am until 11:00 am, Monday-Friday.
