The City of Mitchell Housing and Redevelopment Commission (CMHRC) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open until further notice.Mitchell, SD is about 70 miles west of Sioux Falls, SD.There are two ways to apply:

  1. Visit the CMHRC office to pick up an application, located at 200 E 15th Avenue, Mitchell, SD 57301, during normal office hours.
  2. Request to have an application mailed to you by calling (605) 996-6811 during normal office hours.

Once the application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above. No documents are needed at this time.The CMHRC does have a preference for: elderly, disabled, or handicapped individuals.For more information, call the CMHRC at (605) 996-6811 during normal office hours.
