The Cameron County Housing Authority (CCHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open. 50 applications are being accepted every third Wednesday of the month since at least February, 2020, until further notice.

To apply during the opening period, complete the online application every third Wednesday, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm CT.

According to the public notice, "Section 8 Voucher recipients are welcome at Sunrise Villa Apartment at San Benito and Tanglewood Apartment at Laguna Vista."

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received.

The Cameron County Housing Authority (CCHA) Public Housing waiting list for apartments at Leon Gardens, Ebony Estates, Las Palmas, Casa Grande I and Casa Grande II is currently open. Applications are being accepted every Wednesday since at least February, 2020, until further notice.

There are three ways to apply during the opening period:

Complete the online application.
Pick up an application from one of the following places every Wednesday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm CT:
- CCHA Brownsville office, located 65 Castellano Cir, Brownsville, TX 78526
- Las Palmas Development office, located at 213 Orive Blvd, Los Fresnos, TX 78566
- Casa Grande Development office, located at 104 Troywood Cir, Harlingen, TX 78552

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list.
