This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in Georgetown, Texas.

The Georgetown Housing Authority (GHA) last accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from August 8, 2023, until August 9, 2023. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

There were three ways to apply while the waitlist was open:

  1. Complete the online application.
  2. Print the paper application.
  3. Pick up an application outside the public bulletin board located at the GHA office, or at the Shady Oaks Management Building.

Once the paper application was completed, it was to be:

  1. Hand delivered to the GHA office.

Income limit information could be found here.

Preferences have not been confirmed.

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, by order of preferences.

As of July 2017, the Georgetown Housing Authority (GHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications.

To apply: Download and print the application online.

Once the application has been completed, it must be:

  • Mailed to the GHA office, located at PO Box 60, Georgetown, Texas 78626.
  • Faxed to (512) 869-3475.

There are no preferences.

It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list.
