The Janesville Housing Authority (JHA) Section 8-Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. It was last open for one month from May until June, 2019; and before that in January, 2018. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

There were two ways to apply during the opening period:

  1. On May 31, 2019, pick up an application at the Rock County Job Center.
  2. From June 3 until June 28, 2019, pick up an application at Janesville City Hall.

Once the paper application was completed, it must have been either:

  1. On May 31, 2019, dropped off at the Rock County Job Center.
  2. From June 3 until June 28, 2019, dropped off at Janesville City Hall.

The waiting list had the following preferences: Live or Work within the City of Janesville.

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application was received, by order of preference.
