The Manitowoc Housing Authority (MHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for senior/disabled households. The MHA does not offer a Public Housing program for families.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This is the Public Housing program, NOT the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program.

The MHA offers one Public Housing community, Manitou Manor, with 102 1-Bedroom units for senior/disabled households.

There are two ways to apply:

  1. Pick up an application at the MHA office, located at 1433 N. 6th Street, Manitowoc, WI 54220.
  2. Download and print the applicationauthorization for the release of information form, and release of privacy information form.

Once the application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address above.
