The Shawano City Housing Authority (SCHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open until further notice.

Please note: The approximate wait time for a voucher is five years.

There are two ways to apply:

  1. Download the six documents on the SCHA home page, located on the right side of the page, then print and complete.
  2. Visit the SCHA to pick up a pre-application, located at 951 Elizabeth St., Shawano, WI 54166, during normal office hours.

Once the pre-application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above.

Be sure to include copies of these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards, birth certificates, and photo IDs for all adult household members.
