Snow Hill Senior Apartments is a high quality, elegant and affordable senior housing community. Located in historic Snow Hill, MD, the apartments are developed by Interfaith Housing Development Corporation. The five and one-half acre complex houses 30 spacious apartments for seniors in a two story elevator building. The facility is designed for independent living, but has assimilated design features that allow barrier free movement throughout the building. Common areas, computer/internet room, exercise area, library, arts and crafts room and outside patio and decks.
Because Snow Hill Senior participates in HUD's HOME program for rental housing and the LIHTC program, at least some of the units in this property are set aside for households earning 60% or less of the AMI and rents are capped at the local FMR and in many cases much lower. For a HOME project of this size, some of the units are set aside for households at or below 50% AMI with a corresponding lower rent cap.
