The Housing Authority of the County of DeKalb (HACD) Public Housing waiting list for 1, 2, and 3-Bedroom apartments is currently open on a limited basis. Applications are being accepted since at least August, 2017, until further notice.
According to the HACD, "applicants must have 2 or more local preferences and be income eligible to be added to the Low Income Public Housing waiting list." The preferences are listed below.

1, 2, and 3-Bedroom Limited has preferences for: Live, Work, or Attend School Locally, Working/Employed, Families with Children, Rent Burdened. Preferences are not required but Public Housing applicants that meet these criteria will be moved up the waiting list.
