Although this housing office\u00a0covers both Greene and Ulster County, NY, the public notice for this opening specifically states that the Greene County waiting list is open, and does not mention Ulster County. We are waiting for confirmation if Ulster County is included as well. Applications are\u00a0available online. No preferences have been identified in the public notice. 500 applicants will be placed on the waiting list by random lottery. The RUPCO is managed by New York State Homes and Community Renewal (NYSHCR). This waiting list was scheduled to open for one day in May 2016. However, the PRHA suspended the opening, and announced it would provide more information about reopening at a later date. Applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, after sorting preferences.
