Applications will be available online. There are four preferences. Generally, applicants are placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, after sorting preferences. If the THDA decides to sort a waiting list by random lottery, all applicants to that specific waiting list will be notified.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/affordablehousingonline.com\/housing-authority\/Tennessee\/Tennessee-Housing-Development-Agency\/TN903\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Read more on how to apply on our THDA information page here.<\/a><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #5f9473;\"><a style=\"color: #5f9473;\" href=\"https:\/\/affordablehousingonline.com\/housing-authority\/New-York\/Town-of-Islip-Housing-Authority\/NY077\">Islip, New York<\/a><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The Town of Islip Housing Authority (TIHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open, from February 22, 2017, until March 24, 2017. Applications are available online, by phone, and by mail. Preferences have not yet been confirmed, and it is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/affordablehousingonline.com\/housing-authority\/New-York\/Town-of-Islip-Housing-Authority\/NY077\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Read more on how to apply on our TIHA information page here.<\/a><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #694d75;\"><a style=\"color: #694d75;\" href=\"https:\/\/affordablehousingonline.com\/housing-authority\/New-Jersey\/State-of-New-Jersey-DCA:-Division-of-Housing-and-Community-Resources\/NJ912\">State of New Jersey<\/a><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The State of New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (DCA) New Jersey State Rental Assistance Program is opening soon, from March 6, 2017 at 10:00 am, until March 10, 2017 at 5:00 pm ET. This is a state-funded rental assistance program managed by the DCA that operates similarly to the HUD Housing Choice Voucher program. Applications will be available online. There are preferences, but they have not yet been confirmed. 1,240 family, 1,400 elderly, and 480 disabled households will be placed on the waiting list by random lottery, after sorting preferences.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/affordablehousingonline.com\/housing-authority\/New-Jersey\/State-of-New-Jersey-DCA:-Division-of-Housing-and-Community-Resources\/NJ912\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Read more on how to apply on our DCA\u00a0information page here.<\/a><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #694d75;\"><a style=\"color: #694d75;\" href=\"https:\/\/affordablehousingonline.com\/housing-authority\/Washington\/King-County-Housing-Authority\/WA002\">King County, Washington<\/a><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The King County Housing Authority (KCHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is opening soon, from April 5, 2017 at 8:00 am, until April 18, 2017 at 4:00 pm PT.
