There are two (2) new Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list openings announced this week by Affordable Housing Online! Plus, multiple waiting lists for low-income apartments also open soon!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before applying, renters can save valuable time by knowing all of the important details about a waiting list, including the eligibility requirements, preferences, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Affordable Housing Online is the only website that helps renters cut time in their search for low-income housing by getting the information that’s need to apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These are the latest areas in the U.S. that have an opportunity for low-income housing:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Housing Tip: Applicants do not need to live in the area to apply to most waiting lists. Once a waiting list closes, it may stay closed for many years.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Section 8 Announcements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Wayne, Holmes, and Ashland County, Ohio Section 8 Waiting List Opens Soon<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Wayne Metropolitan Housing Authority (WMHA) will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from November 1, 2023, until January 31, 2024. This is the first time the waiting list will be open since March, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

West Monroe, Louisiana Section 8 Waiting List Opens Tomorrow<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The West Monroe Housing Authority (WMHA) will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from October 24, 2023 at 8:30 am, until October 25, 2023 at 1:00 pm CT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Charleston, South Carolina Project-Based Voucher Waiting Lists Open Soon<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Housing Authority of the City of Charleston (HACC) will accept Section 8 Project-Based Voucher waiting list applications for 1, 2 and 3-bedrom apartments at Project 17 on three different dates. The waiting list applications for 1-bedroom apartments will be accepted on November 15, 2023, 2-bedroom applications will be accepted on November 16, 2023, and 3-bedroom applications will be accepted on November 17, 2023. All waiting lists will be open from 12:00 pm, until 3:00 pm ET, or until the maximum number of applications have been received.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
