This waiting list has a local preference for residents of Crook, Deschutes, and Jefferson County, OR. This means that applicants who qualify for the local preference will receive higher priority on the waiting list than general applicants. In 2015, when the office first established this preference, all applicants added to the waiting list qualified for the local residency preference. If you do not live within the jurisdiction of this housing authority, it is highly unlikely that you will receive assistance. Pre-applications will be\u00a0available online\u00a0only. One\u00a0preference has been identified. Qualified applicants will be placed\u00a0on the waiting list by random lottery, after sorting preferences.
