To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

  • Chronically Homeless
  • Current resident of Mesa or a person who is currently working or hired to work in the City of Mesa.

4,000 applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, weighed by order of preferences.

This opening is for the following communities:

  • Escobedo at Verde Vista, 435 N Hibbert, Mesa, AZ 85201
  • La Mesita Apartments LP, 2254 W Main St, Mesa, AZ 85201

Please note: To be eligible for this wait list you must meet the following qualifications:

  • CHRONICALLY HOMELESS per the definition: “An individual and/or family who has experienced at least two episodes of shelter living (emergency and/or transitional housing) and has a substantiated need for long term case management and supportive services.”
  • One of these: 1) Elderly family or individual, 2) Disabled family or individual, or 3) Family needing supportive services

To apply during the opening period, complete the online application.

    Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

    It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list.
