The Crestview Housing Authority (CHA) will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from April 8, 2024 at 7:30 am, until April 15, 2024 at 5:30 pm CT. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in August, 2018.

There are three ways to apply while the waitlist is open,

  1. Print the paper application that will available on the CHA website.
  2. Pick up an application in person at the CHA office, located at 371 W. Hickory Ave. Crestview, FL 32536 during office hours.
  3. Email nicole@chafl.com to request an application.

Once the paper application is completed, it must be: Returned to the CHA office, address mentioned above.

This waiting list has the following preferences:

  • Families who live or work in Okaloosa County.

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, by order of preferences.
