This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in Williamson County, Illinois.

The Williamson County Housing Authority (WCHA) is accepting Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from March 14, 2023, until further notice.

There are two ways to apply during the opening period:

  1. Pick up an application from the WCHA office, located at 300 Hickory, Carterville, IL 62918.
  2. Print the paper application.

Once the paper application is completed, it must be either:

  1. Dropped off at the WCHA office, address mentioned above.
  2. Mailed to the Williamson County Housing Authority, 300 Hickory, PO Box 45, Carterville, IL  62918.

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

It is not yet known how selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list.
