The Woodford County Housing Authority (WCHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program waiting list is currently open. This waiting list is open indefinitely.

There are two ways to apply:

  1. Complete a pre-application at the WCHA office, located at 410 East Eureka Avenue, Eureka, IL 61530.
  2. Send a self-addressed stamped envelope to:

Once the pre-application has been completed, you must mail it it the WCHA office at the address above.

The WCHA has identified the following preference: Live or work in Woodford County.

When your application has been processed, the WCHA will mail you a letter with your number on the waiting list.

The Woodford County Housing Authority public housing program is accepting applications for families. 


The Housing Authority has one complex named  Pleasant Valley, a 20-unit complex for families (two or more people who are related), that is accepting applications..



To have an application for housing through this program mailed to you, please send a brief note requesting an application, along with a self-addressed stamped envelope, to Woodford County Housing Authority, P.O. Box 223, Eureka, IL 61530.  You may also pick up an application in person at the Housing Authority offices, located at 410 East Eureka Avenue, Eureka, IL 61530, during regular business hours.
