Closed: Family, 2 and 3-Bedroom Public Housing Waiting List

The Brookline Housing Authority (BHA) Family Public Housing waiting list for 2 and 3-Bedroom apartments is currently closed. Applications were last accepted from November 2, 2020, until November 30, 2020. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

There were three ways to apply during the opening period:

  1. Print the online paper application.
  2. Send an email to the BHA.
  3. Call the BHA.

Once the application was completed, it was either:

  1. Postmarked between November 2, 2020 at 8:30 am and November 30, 2020 at 1:00 pm; and mailed to the BHA.
  2. Dropped off at the BHA drop box.
  3. Emailed to the BHA.

The maximum income limits for each household size were as follows:

  • 2 people $77,000
  • 3 people $86,650
  • 4 people $96,250
  • 5 people $103,950
  • 6 people $111,650

This waiting list had the following preferences:

  • Natural Disaster.
  • Fleeing Domestic Violence.
  • live or work in Brookline. 

It was not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list.
