The Bloomington Housing and Redevelopment Authority (BHRA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. It was last open for five days in November, 2018; and before that for four days in September, 2014. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.
To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.
This waiting list had the following preferences: Persons Who Live, Work, or Attend School Locally, Working/Employed, Persons in Job Training or Higher Education, Referred by Local Assistance Program, Persons with a disability who uses a Bloomington service provider.
1,500 applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, by order of preferences.
