The Kinston Housing Authority (KHA) is accepting Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from March 20, 2024 until April 5, 2024. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in April, 2023.
To apply while the waitlist is open, applications can be picked up from one of the following locations in Kinston, NC:
Once the application is completed, it must be postmarked and mailed no later than April 5, 2024 to the KHA, located at 608 N. Queen Street, P.O. Box 697, Kinston, NC 28502.
Please note: Applicants are reminded that no applications will be accepted at any Kinston Housing Authority office, but will be accepted by the US Post Office mail only.
Preferences have not yet been confirmed.
Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by random lottery.
