The Bennington Housing Authority (BHA) is accepting Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from an unconfirmed open date, until December 15, 2023.

There are two ways to apply while the waiting list is open:

  1. Request an application be mailed to you by calling (802) 442-8000, during normal office hours.
  2. Pick up an application from the BHA, located at 22 Willow Brook Dr., Bennington, VT 05201, during normal office hours, Monday-Friday.

Once the application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above. 

This waiting list has the following preferences:

  • live and/or work in Bennington, living in substandard living conditions, or rent burden.

It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list.

The Bennington Housing Authority (BHA) is accepting Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) Section 8 Project Based Voucher waiting list applications for Willowbrook, Beech Court, Brookside and Walloomsac Apartments from the earliest confirmed open date of November 28, 2023, until further notice.

There are three ways to apply while the waiting list is open:

  1. Print the paper application.
  2. Request an application be mailed to you by calling (802) 442-8000, during normal office hours.
  3. Pick up an application from the BHA office, located at 22 Willow Brook Dr., Bennington, VT 05201, during normal office hours, Monday-Friday.

Once the application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above. 

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list.
