The Seattle Housing Authority (SHA) is accepting Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from January 17, 2024, until further notice. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in February, 2017.
To apply while the waiting list is open, complete the online application.
There are preferences, and they are listed on the application.
Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by random lottery, weighed by order of preferences.
