Through a partnership with Montgomery County Department of Housing and Community Affairs, MHP and its affiliates acquire and manage more than 100 homes—mostly 3 bedroom townhouses—in over 30 subdivisions in the developing suburbs from Silver Spring to Gaithersburg to Damascus to use as affordable rentals. Most of these units are reserved for larger families of four to six members. Residents are expected to maintain the grounds and cut the grass. In almost all cases, an automobile is required since few of the units are near public transportation.

No floor plans are available since units vary widely in layout. All 100+ homes are in different locations so no map is currently available. The leasing office at Beall’s Grant does have pictures and location maps for each unit.
Because MHP Scattered Sites Townhomes and Condominiums participates in HUD's HOME program for rental housing, at least some of the units in this property are set aside for persons at or below 60% of the AMI and rents are capped at the local FMR and in many cases much lower.
