The Roseville Housing Authority (RHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. Applications were last accepted from June 22, 2020, until June 26, 2020. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

The maximum income limits per each household size were as follows:

  • 1 person $30,250 | 6 persons $50,100

  • 2 persons $34,550 | 7 persons $53,550

  • 3 persons $38,850 | 8 persons $57,000

  • 4 persons $43,150

  • 5 persons $46,650

This waiting list had the following preferences:

  • Family Preference = 30 points 
    • Elderly, Disabled, Family with minor Children or Veteran
    • No family preference
  • Residency Preference = 15 points
    • Resident (live or work within the cities of Roseville/Rocklin, at time of application, or at any time during the applicant’s term on the waiting list)  
    • Non-Resident
  • Involuntarily Displaced Preference = 10 points 
    • Households that are currently involuntarily displaced or become displaced (at any time during the applicant’s term on the waiting list), and are not living in standard permanent replacement housing, due to the following actions: Disaster, Government Action (such as condemnation from the Building Department), Action of Housing Owner, Inaccessibility, Property Disposition.
    • Not subject to involuntary displacement action.

700 applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, weighed by order of preferences.
