The Housing Authority of Springfield (HAS) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open until further notice.

Springfield, KY is about 55 miles southwest of Lexington, KY.

To apply, visit the HAS to pick up a pre-application, located at 1057 Melavin Cir., Springfield, KY 40069, from 8:00 until 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday.

Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm ET, Monday-Friday.

Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, photo IDs for all adult household members, and proof of all income.

The HAS does have a preference for: Working families, and applicants that live and/or work in Springfield.
