The Baraga Housing Commission (BHC) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applciaitons for families and senior/disabled individuals.The BHC offer one Public Housing community with 50 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.There are two ways to apply:

  1. Visit the BHC to pick up a pre-applciation, located at 416 Michigan Ave,,, Baraga, MI 49908, during normal office hours.
  2. Request that a pre-application be mailed to you by calling (906) 353-6432 during normal office hours.
Once the application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above.Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Birth certificates, Social Security Cards, proof of all income, and photo IDs for all adult household members.No preferences were noted.For more information, call the BHC office at (906) 353-6432 during normal office hours.
