This week, we have added 5 new waiting lists to our open Section 8 waiting lists page. We are now aware of 509 open Section 8 waiting lists, and 8 waiting lists that are opening soon. Here are the new scheduled waiting lists that are open now and opening soon:
Atlanta, Georgia
The Atlanta Housing Authority (AHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is opening soon, from March 15, 2017 at 9:00 am, until March 21, 2017 at 5:00 pm ET. Applications will be available online. There are three preferences. 30,000 applicants will be placed on the waiting list by random lottery, after sorting preferences. Kitsap County, Washington
The Housing Kitsap (HK) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open, from February 13, 2017 at 8:00 am, until February 17, 2017 at 4:00 pm PT. Applications are available online. Preferences have not yet been confirmed. It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list. Read more on how to apply on our AHA information page here.
